Plenty of Choice for Pint-sized PhotogsIn the days of film, parents seemed to keep a pretty tight rein on kids' with cameras. After all, the film cost money... and then there was the developing and printing to pay for. But digital changed everything. Digital photos are "free," and plenty of companies are taking advantage. The most recent entry? Crayola, which joins a long list including Disney, Lego and Playskool. Crayola offers a VGA-resolution (640 x 480) camera with enough internal memory for more than 90 shots. And, of course, it's trimmed in bright crayon colors. Many children are already more computer-savvy than their parents. Will the same soon hold true for digital photography? |
