If you need to vent about how tough your job search is, and how much frustration you are experiencing, try keeping a journal. Getting your thoughts and feelings out is important, but venting to friends and family creates negative energy that most people want to avoid. I know this is not an easy time to be finding a job. However, constantly complaining about how hard it is really doesn't help. Stay positive and surround yourself with positive people, and you may be surprised at the result. Having a job search support group is another idea - do a brown bag lunch and trade your ideas and suggestions for what is working well.
