Tweet is the word of the moment on everyone's mind. I've created a Twitter account for my writing and for my day-job's event's department and you know what? It's working! That's right. We started with 8 followers and within 10 days we had over 200! Does it translate into sales? I'm not sure yet. I'm trying to go about this one tweet at a time, follow the ground rules and enjoy the process. I'm getting acquainted with the community and want to be a viable member. Isn't that what it's all about?
Authors are creating Twitter pages and linking them back to their blogs and websites. It's more like a grass-roots campaign than anything else. I'm linking my Twitter account to my other social media outlets in hopes that I can post in one place and have it feed the others because, as you know, this all takes a lot of time. However, I heard today that if you're not Tweeting every 10 minutes, then you're probably losing followers.
So, I gott go, but have one question for you-Have you Tweeted, lately?
