Blogging, posting comments on Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn, advertising on social media sites, contacting booksellers and libraries, pitching speaking venues, contacting the media, bartering with local merchants, and yes, doing whatever it takes-is exactly what it takes to rise to the top and then some.
So, how do you do it? One day, one moment, one opportunity at a time-thoughtfully, strategically and consistently-that's it. How badly do you want your book to be successful? Are you willing to give up your free time?
I've had a lifetime of lallygagging (spelling?) and now, I'm not settling for less than the cream of the crop spot. This is what I've been waiting for and I'm going to not leave any stone unturned. If I don't do this, now, when will I?
So, I ask you, fellow author/writer? When was the last time you spent your free waking hours focusing on promoting, publicizing and selling your book? Try it...you will be amazed at what you can and will accomplish. http://www.pjcampbellwriter.com
