Daylight savings time in the fall is great for morning runners; we get a break from the darkness (although not for long) but evening runners find their daylight time shortened.
Don't forget to give some thought to safe running when you are out at dawn or dusk. Consider a headlamp--there are many small, lightweight models available. They won't get in your way, and they will help you see and be seen.
Some runners feel comfortable in reflective vests--personally I find them bulky, but any decent running shoe has reflective parts on it, and if you know you'll be running regularly in the dark, look for running shirts, shorts, or tights with reflective strips.
Stay safe and happy running!
