If you're like me, you prefer to choose your own running gear rather than having someone choose it for you. But well-meaning family and friends might ask what running stuff they might get you for the holidays.
The safest bet is a gift card for your favorite running store. Then you avoid the hassle of having to return a jacket in the wrong style or tights in the wrong size.
For those who really want to get you a tangible gift, suggest non-clothing items, or things of less specific size, such as a water bottle belt, running gloves, a hat, or a headlamp for those dark winter morning or evening runs.
