Brendan Tedstone is a professional hockey player in the United Hockey League (UHL) for the New York Elmira Jackals and the Ligue Nord Américaine de Hockey (LNAH). Having played hockey since the tender age of three, Tedstone has built up his players roster over the years playing for teams including the Sherbrooke Saints (LNAH), St. Hyacinthe Le Cousin (LNAH), Flint Generals (UHL), and the Richmond Riverdogs (UHL).
Tedstone's philosophy has always been focused on wins and losses, and making sure the guys on the ice are safe. "Personal stats - like goals and assists - never mattered to me," he said. "Over the last few years, my role has evolved to be a guy that just kind of drops the gloves when it's time. Just another way to make sure my guys are safe on the ice."
Upcoming Events
I have signed with the Elmira Jackals in the UHL. I will be in Quebec in late September, then will report to Elmira, New York for the first week in November. The season opens October 13, but I am getting married on that day followed by a 2-week honeymoon.

Protecting Your Team
Always be the last guy off the ice to make sure your guys are safe. Never back down from someone for any reason. Stand your ground and you'll earn the respect of the guys on your team, as well as the fans.
Work Ethic
Play for the name on the front of your jersey, not on the back. Be the consummate team player. Wins are more important than goals and assists.
Back Check
NEVER be the last guy out of the offensive zone. Always pick up your man in the neutral zone.
