Byron speaks with author Hugh Byrne on his new book, The Here and Now Habit: How Mindfulness Can Help You Break Unhealthy Habits Once and for All. Hugh is a teacher and social activist who studies Buddhist meditation and is trained in teaching Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) and somatic Experiencing. He is a co-founder of the Washington Buddhist Peace Fellowship and works to serve his community in mindfulness and social justice. His book focuses on creating a healthier way of living through proven effective techniques and personal experience to replace habit with mindfulness in daily life.
