Is Your Child an Entrepreneur
Australian author and LifeTips guru Jenny Ford tells us about the Charity Book Project that teaches kids how to become entrepreneurs. All proceeds from this book project are going to microfinance charities. One book is written each year and is sold for charity and Jenny was thrilled to be chosen for this year’s project . She is currently running a huge YouTube Video competition to find the Next Child Entrepreneur. Even her own daughters are entrepreneurs! Jenny has a lot of great knowledge to share regarding starting your own business for adults and kids alike.

5 tips for environmental change for business
Sami Grover – introduces himself with a delicious British accent and likes to remind others that clearly, he’s not from Virginia. Sami is the Director of Sustainability at The Change. (TheChangeStrategy.com). He and his hippie-friendly-tree-hugging friends are changing the field of marketing by helping to promote businesses that are not only organic, but that are aggressively free-trade and fair labor. He does all of the product management for these clients and some of their products are ground breaking. Why waste energy and resources on marketing when you can use what you already have to market yourself. Sami was on his way to the US one and a half years ago, taking his last flight ever (he refuses to fly, it’s bad for the environment) he met his wife onboard and within a few months they were married. His love of marketing and the environment landed him on the doorsteps of The Change. He will be bring 5 tips for environmental change for business and consumers. His recent article was featured on the Discovery Channel’s Green website, Treehugger.com, where he outlined how to go about planning your own green funeral. He has been featured on NPR and his recent work is with a client who specializes in organic, fair trade, fair labor made children’s training underpants. If it’s green, he dabbles in it. He will be joining us to discuss The Change and green marketing strategy as well as some of the cool products his clients are coming up with that are fair labor/fair trade/organic wholesome goodness.
